Being a parent is the hardest job there is and having support is so important. Evolving Parents is here to offer that support with any issue or challenge you’re having with kids.
Angie Sanders is a certified Parent Educator of TEACH Through Love, a child advocate, public speaker, founder of the largest adoptive family support group in Los Angeles, and a homeschooling mom to her neurodivergent, amazing teen son.
She's been a guest on KPCC public radio and speaker in person at their Crawford Family Forum. She's also spoken at conferences, appeared on podcasts, and had her own weekly topic videos on Evolve-On, the Facebook group and workshops she co-founded.
She currently co-leads a monthly Connection Circle for Mothers of children with special needs for We Are Brave Together and has been a keynote speaker and leader at their weekend retreats for moms. She also teaches a class for kids at Learn Beyond the Book on growth mindset, mindfulness, social emotional intelligence and self-regulation tools.
Working with private clients, at workshops and speaking engagements, her mission is to help parents understand their child's behavior and create a deeper connection between parent and child. She does this by teaching a peaceful parenting method that taps into self-regulation, empathy, emotional intelligence, and learning about brain development for both parent and child. She helps families become less chaotic and more peaceful. It is possible!
Before becoming a parent, Angie was an acting coach for children and adults, ran her own acting studio and worked as a casting director in film and TV.
